Dr. Cacciatore teaches research methodology and introduction to public relations in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations. His research focuses on risk communication with an emphasis on media coverage of risk and opinion formation for risk topics.

 

 

Caruso, Glen

Glen Caruso

Glen Caruso is an established entrepreneur, educator and digital marketing sales and strategy expert. He has worked at leading interactive media companies throughout his career. During the last four years he was part of the executive management team responsible for the sale of two digital advertising startups: Firecracker Digital Group and BLiNQ Media, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer. Currently Glen is Director of Strategic Accounts for Rocket Fuel, a top Programmatic DSP/DMP. He is responsible for Platform and Managed Service sales to the top 50 brink marketers in the Southeast. Throughout his career, Glen as closed over $109 million worth of advertising partnerships from Fortune 100 marketers and their ad agencies.

Deal teaches Graphic Communication and Advertising Message Strategy. She works with undergraduate students to develop an understanding of basic design concepts, common design challenges, idea generation, brainstorming, and content writing and editing using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).

 

 

Evans, Nathaniel J.

Nathaniel Evans
Assistant Professor, Advertising

Dr. Evans teaches advertising and society, advertising management, and graduate level advertising foundations courses. His research interests examine consumers’ processing and evaluation of immersive and non-traditional advertising formats that include advergames, branded apps, in-game advertising, and native advertising with a focus on public policy implications.

Mr. Haan is Executive Director of Creative Circus. He helps facilitate the partnership between the Department of Advertising & Public Relations and the Creative Circus in the "Summer at the Circus" program. He has worked for FCB, McCann Erickson and Frankel serving clients including Coors, Molson, Mazda, General Mills, Nestle, S.C. Johnson, Sunkist, Visa, Dreyer’s, Clorox and Zicam. Mr. Haan has a Master’s in Advertising from Michigan State University.

As Director of Sports Practice for Jackson Spalding, Mr. Harris manages communication strategies for numerous sports-related clients, including the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, College Football Hall of Fame, ESPN/SEC Network, Chick-fil-A Bowl, Atlanta Sports Council, PrimeSport, University of Georgia, TRUE linkswear, and multiple PGA TOUR-sanctioned events. Serves as a senior advisor on major corporate accounts, including Chick-fil-A and Google.

Her research includes studies of public relations, crisis communication, conflict management, social media, and strategic health and risk communication, with a strong focus on how emotions influence organizational decision making processes as well as publics’ information seeking behaviors and communicative responses.

Dan King has been a partner in King & Spalding's Atlanta and New York offices, and served as the leader of the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group. Dan practiced law for 30 years with significant litigation and trial experience in a wide range of commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration matters, before retiring at the end of 2010. He teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia and Georgia Gwinnett College. Dan holds bachelors and law degrees from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Landrum is emeritus Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Georgia (retired July 2014). He teaches fundraising in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations. He was responsible for managing the University of Georgia's advancement program, which includes fund raising, public affairs, alumni relations, financial and fund-raising support services, donor relations and stewardship, and special events.

He was Grady faculty member from 1980 to 2012, where he served as Department Head of ADPR, associate dean for research and graduate studies, and interim Grady dean (twice).
