Online UGA Bulletin

Students accepted for Spring 2016 and beyond will earn a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a major in Journalism. Students enrolled before Spring 2016 will find information about their emphases here.

Sports Media Certificate

The certificate will be offered by the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Aimed at preparing students for careers in sports writing, sports broadcasting and sports communications, the program will be led by veteran sports journalist Vicki Michaelis, the John Huland Carmical Distinguished Professor in Sports Journalism and Society.

Students accepted for Spring 2016 and beyond - Handouts (ABJ)

A major in Journalism prepares students for jobs in news organizations including broadcast and multimedia reporting, writing, editing, and producing. Journalism majors work in photojournalism, video journalism, social media, web and publication design, media innovation and entrepreneurship, and news management.
